What's new

Welcome

This is the beginning of a new PageAlumniandFriends.org website.

This page will be changed after all the content authors sign in to the site and their permissions established.

If you are one of the new content people, the preferred approach is to sign in using one of your existing internet identities.
The site uses a service that lets you establish your identity without this site having knowledge of your password -- I think that is the most secure approach.
When you use one of those identities, sometimes (not with all services) some of your profile information is already entered into your profile on this site, meaning that you don't have to type in all that data again.

If you don't want to use an existing identity, then you can also just set up a username/password combination for this site.

Content authors will be able to modify the pages that they have rights to.  This does not mean, however, that they have rights to change any page on the site.

There are several WSIWYG editors available to choose from.  You'll likely have a preference of one over another, so if you don't like one, try another.  They all work basically in the same fashion.  For instance, if I wanted to modify this from a wide paragraph of words, I can embed a photo, create a table, or even embed a mulicolumn selector.

Have fun.  Make your content interesting and informative.
